2025 marked my second year working as the Social Media Manager for Old Settler’s Music Festival, one of Texas’ most beloved bluegrass festivals. From January through April, I collaborated with the festival’s marketing team to plan and execute a digital strategy that boosted engagement, expanded our audience, and built momentum leading up to the big weekend.
In the weeks before the event, I handled content creation, scheduled posts, designed graphics, and coordinated with artists to enhance promotion. During the festival, I shifted into live coverage mode, capturing photos and video, posting real-time updates, and sharing behind-the-scenes content to bring the energy of the festival to our online community.
This role blended content strategy, creative production, and on-the-ground storytelling to help elevate one of Texas’ most iconic music festivals.
